The fund focuses on the clean technology and healthy ageing sectors and will primarily target businesses in the north of England. The fund will provide growth capital, targeting Late Seed to Series A funding rounds where there is still high growth potential, but lower risk than investing at earlier stages. Companies will generally have good commercial traction, proven demand and will be rapidly establishing their position in the market.

The fund will generally invest at least £0.5m in the round and the target portfolio size is 4 to 6 companies.
