BCRS Business Loans is a finance provider that was set up to support the growth of West Midlands based businesses, social enterprises and charities that are struggling to access finance from traditional lenders.

Alongside being accredited by the the British Business Bank and able to offer CBILS, BCRS Business Loans also offer their lending to social enterprises and charities via the Community Investment Enterprise Facility (CIEF).

Established as a social enterprise in 2002, BCRS Business Loans is a not-for-profit finance provider that supports growing businesses, social enterprises and charities in the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

We understand that accessing finance from traditional lenders can sometimes be difficult, which led to our vision of leaving ‘no viable organisation unsupported.’

With a dedicated team of professionals, offering relationship-based approach to lending, we are able to support local organisations. We don’t use impersonal credit scoring systems and don’t charge early repayment fees.

Our sole purpose is to provide finance to promote the growth and prosperity of West Midlands based businesses. To date, we have supported over 1,600 organisations with lending to the value of £62 million.

We realise that helping organisations prosper will in turn have a positive impact on local communities across the West Midlands. We are proud that our lending has facilitated the creation of 4,300 new jobs and safeguarded 7,500 jobs, which has generated an extra £322 million in the West Midlands economy.

Small businesses, social enterprises and charities are at the heart of what we do, and we believe in what they do. For us, no viable organisation should go unsupported.
