Sporting Capital invests in organisations that make a difference through sport.
Sporting Capital is a £3m social investment fund that focuses on supporting the development of community sports organisations into sustainable community sport businesses. The idea behind Sporting Capital is to use repayable investment - basically a simple, interest bearing loan - to help community sports organisations to do more, and in particular to create more sustainable revenue and ultimately impact.
The loans are flexible and can be used to support costs such as capital build costs, salaries, new equipment, internal fit out of buildings, new technology, marketing and business development.
The fund looks to enable charities and social enterprises who use sport to make a difference to grow, sustain and succeed. We recognise that social investment is new to many organisations and so will provide wrap around support during the application and beyond.
We can also support you to access grant support to help charities and social enterprises become ‘investment ready’ as part of our application process.
