Traditional social investment funds

Trusts & Foundations

While trusts and foundations are mostly known for providing grant funding to charities and social enterprises, a number of them also invest into these organisations. Below is a non-exhaustive list of a few examples that are currently involved in social investment.

Other sources of investment

  • Allia - enables charities to raise finance through retail charity bonds and unlisted bond issues

  • Ethex - enables you to raise equity or loan from the general public
  • Finding Finance - a service provided by Responsible Finance to help you find loans from responsible lenders
